—————————

The University of Texas at Dallas is an equal opportunity/affirmative action university.

The Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program offers students graduate preparation for a career as an audiologist. The program emphasizes training in the most sophisticated techniques for evaluating hearing and auditory processing and experience with advanced technology for diagnosing hearing loss. It also teaches methods for assisting children and adults with impaired hearing to function effectively in school, the workplace, and everyday activities..

Clinical knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom, clinic, and laboratory are supported by a sound foundation in the anatomical, physiological, and perceptual aspects of hearing. The AuD program has limited enrollment assuring students considerable individual attention and mentoring in acquiring the essential skills for the practice of audiology.
