What is Camp?

Children ages 3 - 11 who have cochlear implants participate in day camp activities from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Each camper is paired with a graduate student buddy who maintains a focus on listening and oral communication within the camp environment.

The cost of camp is $175, which includes: day camp activities, snacks, a camper t-shirt, daily speech-language intervention, and the Friday afternoon "Family Celebration" including lunch.

Space is limited.  To reserve your spot at camp and to receive an enrollment packet, contact Melissa Sweeney.  (A limited number of scholarships are available).  A nonrefundable $50 deposit is required by May 5, 2008.  Checks should be made payable to UTD/Callier Center.
