Please support the UTD/Callier Center

At Callier, we focus on abilities, not disabilities. We believe that anyone with a hearing or speech impairment can enjoy a positive, productive quality of life at home, at work, and at play. For adults, a hearing loss or speech impairment can make life difficult. For children, it can be devastating. Thanks to all of our supporters, we can help both adults and children master one of the most basic skills needed in life: the ability to communicate.

Hearing Aid Donations

The Callier Center accepts donations of hearing aids and other devices.

send to:
Callier Center
Attn: Audiology Department

Dallas, TX 75235

With the donation include a letter with your name, address and phone number. Sign the letter with your signature and a brief description of your donation.

The letter is given to the University, through the University of Texas at Dallas we are able to provide a receipt for tax purposes for these donations

The hearing aids are cleaned and repaired and made available for individuals that can't afford to purchase aids.

Our patients are mainly from the metroplex area but we do not limit to geographical areas.

Outright Gifts:

A gift of cash is the most common way of supporting the UTD/Callier Center.

Pledges:

Pledges are customarily payable over a one- to three-year period. A pledge allows you to choose the payment schedule that best meets your needs, and is deductible in the year in which it is paid.

Matching Gifts:

Many employers have established matching gift plans that allow current and retired employees to have their charitable gifts matched by the employer. Please check with your human resource department to see if your company provides matching gifts.

Bequests and gifts through wills:

In planning your estate, remember that an outright bequest to UTD/Callier Center, as well as certain bequests in a trust, are not subject to estate tax. Because these gifts reduce the size of your estate, they also reduce the size of your federal and state estate taxes.

Making a Gift:

Callier's Advancement Officer will be happy to discuss these options with you and your family in greater detail. We will discuss your particular objectives and seek to identify options that help you achieve them.
