The
Communication and Learning Program
Learning New Skills to Manage Challenges after Brain Injury The Communication and Learning Program (CLP) at the Callier Center for Communication Disorders provides speech, language and cognitive services to survivors of stroke and traumatic brain injury. The program is designed to provide individual and group therapy to people with communication or cognitive deficits. The clinic is located at The University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson. The clinicians are graduate students in The University of Texas at Dallas program in Communication Disorders and are supervised by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Because the speech therapy program follows the university calendar, student clinicians graduate at the end of each semester and new clinicians begin treatment at the beginning of the following semester.
